So it is Thursday and the big debate was crack a jar of salsa or make some fresh with the ingredients we have. Fresh was the big winner and subsequently so was I. The wife whipped up her guacamole and this served as a side. The kids managed to get her to make their favourite bean sprout in vinegar salad. And the pork and potatoes were slow cooked to perfection. The just fell apart in your mouth. What I didn't manage to get into the picture were the miso soup and the after dinner bowl of butterscotch ripple ice cream. I am stuffed and I have a full day of work ahead of me tomorrow. What is the deal with working on Fridays? It just shouldn't be allowed.
